BARHAM, GREAT BLAKENHAM AND HENLEY CHURCHES
Gt Blakenham and Henley church will be open for private prayer as follows;
Great Blakenham Church will be open on Saturdays from 10.00am – 12 noon
Henley Church will be open on Sundays from 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Barham Church will be holding a shortened said service of Holy Communion at 10am on Sunday 9, 16, 23 and 30 August and Wednesday 12, 19 and 26 August.
There are strict government regulations which we have to adhere to so things will be different.
Those wanting to attend a service on Sunday and Wednesday mornings need to book a place by contacting Jonathan Dedman on 830890 or
email@example.com. Places are allocated on a first booked, first accepted basis and this should ensure that no-one is turned away at the church door.
A list of expected attendees, with contact details for ʻtrack and traceʼ purposes, will be produced and those who have booked will be ticked off as they enter the church.
Everyone attending a service is now required to wear a face covering in church. This applies to a service of Holy Communion, a wedding or a funeral.
Entrance to and exit from the church will be from different doors.
There will be no singing and Communion will be received in one kind only (bread).
Gathering at the end of the service for tea/coffee is not allowed and a collection will not be taken during the service but there is a plate for weekly offerings on the way out.
The minister leading the service will be aware of and adhere to all the latest C of E advice.
As per government guidance, if you or anyone in your household shows signs of Covid-19, please do not come to church until you have completed 14 days of self-isolation.
